Pet show, cookery winners announced

The 4-H Cotton Pickin’ Pet Showand Cotton Commodity Cookery and Ambassador Contest were held Wednesday, October 12 at the Ville Platte Civic Center.
More than 90 pets were entered in the show this year. Congratulations to all 4-H club members participating in this annual event.

Haley Nicole Jett of Anacoco was crowned Queen Cotton LXIII at Saturday night’s Cotton Coronation.
Jett said, after she was crowned, “I still don’t know what to think. I’m still in shock.”
