Dr. Truth will visit Ville Platte High School and Vidrine Elementary School on Wednesday, October 30th. He will inspire Ville Platte High School’s 7 – 8th grade students and Evangeline Central’s 8th grade Connections students at 10 a.m.

Evangeline Parish Halloween Trick or Treat hours for Thursday, October 31, have been annouced as follows:
•Ville Platte will observe Trick or Treat from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
•Mamou will observe Trick or Treat from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine was in Baton Rouge Monday when she got a call from Second Harvest of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana, asking if she wanted a truck load of fresh produce to distribute. “I just couldn’t turn it down,” she said.
