The Bulldogs of Ville Platte High earned a 42-12 victory over their old rival, Oakdale, last week. The win was big for the Bulldogs as they wanted to have momentum to head into tomorrow night’s game against St. Charles Catholic.

Bulldogs roll over Warriors

After a second quarter, the Ville Platte Bulldogs went beast-mode in the fourth quarter Friday night, exploding for three touchdowns in one minute to cruise to a 42-12 win over their old rivals, the Oakdale Warriors.

Rattling off six straight scores and marching to a 42-6 victory Friday night in Merryville, the sixth ranked Basile Bearcats showed why they are a force to be reckoned with and continue to get better each and every week.

Panthers fall to Lions, despite valiant effort

In Pine Prairie, the Panthers were coming off of a big-time emotional win over the Mamou Green Demons. The Panthers had to entertain another team out of District 4-2A in the Vinton Lions.
