61 room hotel will be built in Abbeville

Abbeville - Sunrise Realty in Abbeville has closed the sale of property to SKAV, LLC, for the development of a site for a Best Western Hotel. The acre tract is located on Hwy 14 on the Chris Crusta Memorial Airport between the National Guard Armory and the Extended Stay Hotel, and across the street from the new Tractor Supply store.

James Noel, Owner/Broker of Sunrise Realty, stated that the location of a Best Western Hotel in Abbeville, in addition to helping the local economy, will be a great asset to national and international travelers in making travel and hotel accommodations in Abbeville.

Abbeville being a destination for many festival goers and sportsmen from around the world, makes the Best Western network a great planning tool for travelers to the area.

Best Western is the world’s largest hotel chain striving to make travel planning easy with service and amenity standards at each of more than 4,000 hotels in 80 countries.

The new Best Western will begin construction within the next couple of weeks and be in operation this fall.

The 61-unit hotel will be managed by Sonney Patel of SKAV, LLC. Mr. Patel is excited about the new Best Western and cannot wait to get started.
