The LSU at Eunice Bengals worked hard over their spring break, racking up five more wins and no losses on the road last week.

With the wins, LSUE is now 24-3 for the 2008 season.

On Wednesday, the Bengals scored a 12-1 win over Baton Rouge Community College after only seven innings, with Boomer Blanchard hitting a two-run homer in the top of the fourth to help seal the deal.

On Thursday, The Bengals picked up two wins at a tournament in Raymond, Miss., opening with a 13-2 five-inning win over Rochester Community College and finishing with a 9-4 win over Hinds Community College.

Friday was particularly good for the Bengals as they scored a 10-run shutout against Itawamba Community College, followed by a 11-8 win over Copiah-Lincoln Community College later that afternoon.

In the battle against Co-Lin, Tyler Slocum, Perry Smith and Delta Cleary each contributed home runs to the Bengals’ win.
