Breaux Bridge twins go to work for Delta Airlines
Identical twins Jarrett and Jerald Batiste have been together since birth and see no reason to separate now.
For the pair, who have both just graduated from an FFA-approved aircraft maintenance school, the sky’s the limit.
They are the sons of Louetta Batiste of Breaux Bridge and Rodney Batiste of Houston. Jarrett and Jerald graduated from Breaux Bridge Senior High School in 2005. They were members of the Breaux Bridge Tigers football team that captured the state championship.
On March 5, the twins were among 20 other students to graduate from Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Houston. Through the school FAA-approved program, Jarrett and Jerald learned aviation servicing, aircraft maintenance, and repairing of today’s aircraft from small prop airplanes to the largest aircraft flying the skies today.
The aviation field offers a broad range of job opportunities in cities of all sizes throughout the world. The twins have decided to take a promising job offer with Delta Airlines and will be living and working in Baton Rouge.
