CAA Annual Art Judging

The 19th annual Rice Capital Juried Art Competition is now on display at Crowley Art Association Gallery, 222 N. Parkerson Ave. The public is invited to view the 147 art works during regular Gallery hours, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Judges for the show included Steve Breaux, UL Art Professor and Gwen Richard, Community Development Coordinator with the Acadiana Arts Council in Lafayette.

Members of the Juried Art Committee included Becky Faulk, gallery coordinator; Robert Baxter, display chairman; Virginia Duson, Delena Rouse, Mary Suire, Bill Henderson, and Shirley Griffin, president.

The committee wishes to thank Mr. Kenny Privat, trustee of the Florence Mouboules Charitable Trust, and Mr. Jude Sittig, regional administrator of Southwind Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, and Summerwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their generous donations of prize monies for the winners.
