• Rayville Masonic Lodge #209 will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 13. The lodge meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

• Macedonia Baptist Church of Rayville will host its Fall Revival at 7 p.m. Nov. 13.

• The Rayville High School Hornets will play Winnfield High School at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at RHS stadium. General admission tickets are $7. Reserved seats may be purchased in advance for $10 at the RHS office.

• The JROTC White Gold Drill Meet will be held at 9 a.m. Nov. 15 at Rayville High School. More than 2,000 students from 25 schools will attend the meet.

• Westside Baptist Church Brotherhood will host a catfish dinner from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Rayville Civic Center parking lot. Plates are $7 and include catfish, green beans, potato salad, bread and cake.

• A Gospel Cake Program for the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Liddieville will be held at the King David “Hopewell” Baptist Church, Mangham, at 6 p.m. Nov. 15.

• Boeuf River Baptist Church, 11 Trio Road, will host its 61st anniversary homecoming at 10 a.m. Nov. 16.

• Nash Street Band will perform at Rayville United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 16.

• Holly Ridge Baptist Church, 1540 Hwy. 584 Rayville, will celebrate its 109th anniversary at noon Nov. 16.

• Alto Baptist Church will celebrate Harvest/Homecoming Day Nov. 16. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. with the worship service at 10:30 a.m. and dinner in the gym.

• The Mangham Power Breakfast is held at 7 a.m. each Wednesday at Mangham United Methodist Church. The power breakfast is held at 7 a.m. each Wednesday for all community youth. • Cox Funeral Home will host its third annual Guardian Angel Program at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Delhi. The event is a night of remembrance and celebration honoring those families served during this year.

• A fall concert will be presented by students from Rayville, Mangham and Delhi high schools at 10 a.m. Dec. 16 in the Rayville Arts Center.

• New Beginnings Christian Ministries, located at 204 Morgan St., in Rayville, hosts an After-School Tutorial Program from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The program offers math, reading, writing, self-esteem building, values training, multi-cultural education and conflict resolution skills. Rev. Harold L. McCoy, Pastor, invites all children to attend the free program.

• HYPE Community Development, 612 Louisa St., will host an after school program from 4-6 p.m. weekdays for students in pre-K through 12 and students enrolled in GED programs. • Rayville High School’s earliest Palmetto issue is the 1927 edition. The school is missing the books for 1929-1941, 1943-1945, 1970, 1974, 1982, 1983, 1991, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2002 and 2003. Anyone who would like to donate a copy of any of these years to RHS, is asked to call the school at 728-3296.

• Free Health Screenings will be available to all residents of Richland Parish, 18 years and older, offered by The Richland Awareness Campaign Healthy Heart Program. The screening includes blood pressure, Heart Rate, Blood values using a simple finger stick only (Blood sugar, Total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and Triglycerides). Brief, on-site counseling and education will be available at time of screening; screening will take an estimated 15 minutes, with blood values available in that time frame.
