Heritage Manor News: Busy, busy week

Today, we will be blessed to have Christmas caroling by the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church members at 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, is the monthly outing. We will be traveling to Pine Prairie to attend the Silver Eagles social and having bingo sponsored by Sacred Heart Rotary Interact Club students at 6:30 p.m. We thank them for organizing a bingo game each month for the residents. Wednesday, December 10, is the monthly VFW barbecue, and this month’s barbecue was donated by Mayor Jennifer Vidrine. Many thanks to all involved. Wednesday also is the monthly resident birthday party at 2 p.m. in the dining room. Residents celebrating a birthday are Doritha Ardoin, Willie Mae Tizeno, Winnie Deville, John Chambers, Lillie Coco, Preston Ardoin and Stella Schmitt. On Thursday, December 11, the Catholic Daughters will host a bingo game and refreshments beginning at 6:30 p.m. On Friday, December 12, we are looking forward to Gerald and Verna Fontenot hosting the Knights of Columbus Christmas party with music, treats and cash prizes. The residents have been enjoying this particular get together for several years and they love sharing music with them. We thank the parishioners of Cornerstone Community Church for sharing time with us on the fifth Sunday of the month in November. Thank you to St. John Baptist Church for coming every first Sunday and Thomas Toler for filling in the other Sundays. It really means a lot to the residents
