Heritage Manor News: Happiness is...

Happiness is defined as the quality or state of mind of being happy and having good fortune, pleasure, contentment and joy. The sound of laughter is more contagious than a cough, sniffle or a sneeze. Humor and laughter can cause a domino effect of joy and amusement of individuals, as well as set off a number of positive physical effects, including reduction of stress and blood pressure, improve your mood, boost of the immune system, improvement of brain functioning, protection of the heart and of course relaxation. Individuals enjoy sharing funny stories, telling jokes and reminiscing about fun times. Some enjoy happiness through aromatherapy, such as the aroma of coffee, citrus smells, lavender, rose scents and even oils. Try having some happiness with a funny movie, pictures, music or reading good jokes. It will reduce stress and enhance your mood.
