Heritage Manor News: Happy Halloween!

On Thursday, October 31, Heritage Manor will host a Halloween party and contest. Family and friends are invited to join in on the fun. Residents and staff members are looking forward to seeing all of the different and creative faces. We will be serving cake and refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners. Halloween events date back more than 2,000 years. It is a time for children to be children and have fun and enjoy.
Activities this week include in-room visits, pokeno, rosary, movie and popcorn, bingo sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, hot dollar, group exercise, card games, social reading and mass.

Congratulations to the winners for the dress out days, Sherina Gallow, Janice Deville, Cathy Jason, Ruby Rollins, Dawn Rolle, Daniel Fontenot and Skyonna Jack.
The birthday party for dementia unit residents will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, in the unit’s dining room.
Family and friends of the residents are encouraged to attend the activities and become involved in the volunteer program. If you would like more information on becoming a volunteer or wish to donate items, please feel free to call the facility and ask for the activity department.
