A memorial service will be held for Rose Henning Fontenot, 69, of Ville Platte, at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove at 11 a.m., Sunday, October 18.
Ms. Fontenot died Friday, October 2, 2015, at her residence.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip Courvelle of Colorado, John Courvelle of Opelousas and Christopher Courvelle of South Carolina; one daughter, Karen Courvelle of Belaire Cove; two brothers, Raymond Fontenot of Carencro and Charles Guillory of Baton Rouge; one sister, Darlene (DeeDee) Wall of St. Landry; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jaques and Harriet Fontenot.
