Corley appointed to Motor Vehicle Commission

Governor Bobby Jindal announced that Donna Corley of Crowley is one of 11 appointments and four reappointments to the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission.

Corley has been the owner of Shetler Corley Motors since 1987.

Also appointed was Don Hargroder of Abbeville, the president of Courtesy Automotive Group since 1987. Hargroder worked on dealership councils for Isuzu, Hyundai and General Motors’ Commercial Truck Division.

The Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission regulates and licenses motor vehicle manufacturers, distributors, dealers and leasers. All members are appointed by the governor and subject to senate confirmation. Ray Brandt will service as chairman.
