Crime Stoppers looking into felony theft

CROWLEY – This week, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a felony theft case.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a theft, which occurred at the USDA Office located at 6129 Egan Highway, just west of Crowley.

On April 21, 2008, employees observed a 10 foot utility trailer along with two Yamaha 115 outboard motors to have been stolen from their fenced in yard. Other accessory items for the motors were also stolen.

The value of the utility trailer is estimated at $1320.00. The value of the boat motors and accessories is valued at just over $20,000.
