Crowley home destroyed by fire
CROWLEY – On the morning of July 20th, Rebecca “Becky” Handy’s home on 11th St. was completely destroyed by a fire. While she was lucky enough to escape the blaze uninjured, she lost nearly all of her personal belongings. Sadly, some of these items can never be replaced.
However, some of her friends and relatives are extending a helping hand to help Becky get back on her feet. They are hoping that they won’t be alone.
The Rebecca T. Handy Benefit Account has been set up at First National Bank so that individuals can make contributions to help Becky while she rebuilds. Items needed include nearly all bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen items.
Anyone wishing to make a contribution can do so at First National Bank. The account is under the Rebecca T. Handy Benefit Account.
