Daigle, Beggs honored at tool and pantry party
A tool and pantry party was given to celebrate the engagement and forth-coming marriage of Heather Daigle and Scott Beggs, both of Crowley.
The party was held on March 29, at 4 p.m. at the home of Dan and Debbie Beggs, parents of the prospective groom.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Angelia Daigle and the late Russell Daigle of Eunice.
Hosting the party were Linda Guidry and Ben Huesers, godparents of the groom-elect; and Jill Atwood, friend of the groom’s family.
On her special day, Heather wore a strapless white sundress adorned with a colorful lei to match the party’s theme.
The Beggs’ home was decorated in a luau island themed layout.
Guest were served crawfish etoufee, pork loin, brisket and various finger foods.
Approximately 50 guest registered, with out of town guest traveling from Rayne, Eunice, Church Point, Ville Platte and Baton Rouge.
Special guest were Andrew and Jackie Huesers, grandparents of the groom-to-be; and Nancy Dietz, grandmother of the bride-to-be.
The couple will be married on May 17, at 7 p.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church.
