WINFIELD LECOQ
January 21, 1939 - May 10, 2008
Funeral services were held for Winfield LeCoq, 69, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 13. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. LeCoq died Saturday, May 10, 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Carrol LeCoq of Ville Platte; one son, Bill LeCoq and his wife, Pauline, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Stephanie LeCoq of Ville Platte; one brother, Leroy LeCoq of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Inez Serio and Hilda Vosburg, both of Morganza; and three grandchildren, Sophie LeCoq, Cole LeCoq and Alex Fontenot all of Ville Platte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Dolcy LeCoq; two brothers, Clarence LeCoq and Floyd LeCoq; and two sisters, Wilma Catlett and Audrey Spillers.

April 12, 1930 - May 10, 2008
Funeral services were held for Bonnie Ritter, 78, of Ville Platte at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Ritter died Saturday, May 10, 2008.
Survivors include five sons, Donnie Ritter of Vinton, Charles Lee Ritter and his wife, Linda, of DeQuincy, Craig Ritter and his wife, Michele, of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Samuel “Bo” Ritter and his wife, Rachel, and Chad Ritter, all of Ville Platte; four daughters, Paula Guillory and her husband, Pat, Phyllis Lafleur and her husband, Jay, Peggy Ritter and Kelli Buller and her husband, Lucas, all of Ville Platte; one sister, Jimmie Carrol LeCoq of Ville Platte; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Ritter; a daughter-in-law, Priscilla Ritter; and her parents, Oswall and Lillian Fontenot.

LAKE CHARLES - Funeral services will be held for Eloise Trahan Freyou, 85, of Mamou, at the Quirk and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice at 10 a.m., today, May 15. Burial will follow in the Consolata Mausoleum in Lake Charles at 1 p.m.

IRIS ALICE FREEMAN
September 30, 1941 - May 10, 2008
Funeral services will be held for Iris Alice Freeman, 67, of Ville Platte, at the Owens-Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 17. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

LILLIE FONTENOT
June 29, 1935 - May 13, 2008
BAYOU CHICOT - Funeral services will be held for Lillie Fontenot, 72, of Ville Platte, at First Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., today, May 15. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
Ms. Fontenot died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Heart Hospital in Lafayette.
Survivors include three sons, Darrel Keith Fontenot and his wife, Linda, of Opelousas and Gary Wade Fontenot and his wife, Karen, and Mitchell K. Fontenot, all of Ville Platte; one daughter, Karen A. Fontenot of Pine Prairie; five brothers, Leroy Rollins, Dudley Rollins, Malcolm Rollins and George Rollins, all of Bayou Chicot, and Duke Rollins of Marksville; four sisters, Christine Kordish and Betty Lou Zager, both of Bayou Chicot, Ella Ruth Fontenot of Ville Platte and Elaine Vidrine of Opelousas; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Fontenot Jr.; her parents, Leon and Anita Rollins; and two sisters, Helen Winn and Lillian Kordish.
Brother Kevin West will officiate.
