The St. Landry Parish Retire Intiative Committee will hold a public forum Thursday to get input on developing St. Landry Parish as a Louisiana Certified Reirement Community.

The forum will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the clubhouse area of Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino.

St. Landry is one of seven Louisiana communities to receive the retirement designation.

The parish Tourist Commission is the program manager.
