Election Commissioner School to be held for those interested in Evangeline Parish

Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court Randy Deshotel has announced that there will be an Election Commissioner School for all persons who are currently commissioners and those who are interested in becoming Certified Election Commissioners.
This school is a renewal of the commission of for those commissioners for the 2016 – 2020 term of the Clerk of Court. Those who are not currently election commissioners and wish to become one are encouraged to attend also. It is open to anyone from a senior in high school on up, as there is no age limit.
The schools will be held in the following locations and at the following times:
• Wednesday, Sep-tember 7, 2016 at noon and 6:00 PM in Ville Platte at the Evangeline Parish Police Jury Meeting Room
• Thursday, Sep-tember 8, 2016 at the Dr. Bobbie Deshotel Community Center at 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, Sep-tember 13, 2016 at the Turkey Creek Community Center at 6:00 PM
• Thursday, Sep-tember 15, 2016 at the Mamou Celestine Center at 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, Sep-tember 20, 2016 at the Pine Prairie Town Hall at 6:00 PM
• Thursday, Sep-tember 22, 2016 at 12:00 NOON and 6:00 PM in Ville Platte at the Evangeline Parish Police Jury Meeting Room
