EPSO charges Freeman

In a case stemming back from August of 2007, Louisiana State Police joined forces with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Ville Platte Police Department to make undercover buys in the area.

Captain Keith Dupre, chief of detectives of Evangeline Parish said a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine (three counts) was executed, and Joseph “Yogi” Freeman, 43, 207 W. Long St., Ville Platte, was booked into the parish jail Monday, April 14. He was released on a $20,000 bond.
