Gracie Hallum turns one

Gracie Marie Hallum, daughter of John and Emily Hallum of Crowley, celebrated her first birthday on March 1. She is the granddaughter of Paula Caplinger of Crowley and Scott Caplinger of Tyler Texas, and Roger and Marlene Hallum of Eunice. Her godparents are Jacob Caplinger of Crowley, and Shelly Gorley of Kingwood, Texas.

For Gracie’s special day, the theme of the party was butterflies and flowers. A special presentation board that featured pictures of Gracie with flowers and theme colors was the main attraction.

Guests were served cake, cookies, veggie tray, chips and dip, a ham tray, and punch.

Gracie and her friends had riding toys and bubbles for entertainment.

Twenty guests attended the party.

Special guests were Lane William Hallum, her brother; and great grandparents Emma Meaux, and Cliff and Ann Hallum.

Out of town guest traveled from Gueydan, Eunice, and Ville Platte.

Gracie’s actual birthday was February 26.
