Habetz, Broussard engaged

Celeste Claire Habetz of Crowley will become the bride of Jacob Paul Broussard also of Crowley during a 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Michael Catholic Church on June 14. Father Gary Schexnayder will officiate the ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen and Milton Habetz, Sr. of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of the late Eva R. “Tipsy” Kisinger of Scott, the late Oscar Faulk, Sr. of Crowley and the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Andrew Habetz, Sr. of Rayne.

Celeste is a graduate of Crowley High School. She is currently attending McNeese State University where she is majoring in elementary education.

The groom-elect is the son of Janetta and Tony Broussard, Sr. of Crowley. He is the grandson of the late Ernest Broussard, Sr., Janet F. Broussard, both of Crowley; the late Salvadore Guarisco of Morgan City, the late LaVerne Guarisco of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Hortense Arcemont of Morgan City.

Jacob is a graduate of Crowley High School and McNeese State University.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Crowley.
