RAYNE – Funeral services will be held at St. Leo IV Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at for Henry L Meyer, 67 who died Monday, June 9, 2008 in Roberts Cove.

Interment will be in the St. Leo Cemetery in Rayne

Surviving are wife, Jo Ann Zaunbrecher Meyer of Roberts Cove, LA, son, Conrad J. Meyer of Roberts Cove, son and daughter-in-law, Gerald C. and Monica Meyer of Roberts Cove, daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Dale Guidroz of Cecilia, brother and sister-in-law, Leonard J and Pearl Meyer of Roberts Cove, brother and sister-in-law, James A and Patricia Meyer of Roberts Cove, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Herman, Jr. Reiners of Roberts Cove, sister, Margaret M. Simpson of Rayne, sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen M. and Larry Viator of New Iberia, and grandsons, Connor, Tyler, Reece, and Hayden Meyer, and Dylan Guidroz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John K. & Anna H. Meyers, one brother, Joseph “Dutch” Meyer.

He was born Wednesday, September 25, 1940 in Roberts Cove, son of the late John K. Meyer and the late Anna M. Habetz Meyer. He was a member of Holy Name Society, Ward Two Drainage Board. He worked as a farmer.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 and Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 8 a.m. until services at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.

There will be a rosary at 7 pm. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
