Lake Arthur powers over Mamou

Mamou went to Lake Arthur Friday night to battle the Tigers in a place where it is always hard to win. The Tigers over powered Mamou with a tough running game and went on to a 40-0 win. 

Lake Arthur’s Trey Hargrave scored four times throughout the contest. Hargrave gobbled up 195 yards on the ground. 

The Tigers scored on their opening possession. Glen Guidry opened things up less than five minutes into the game with a four-yard run. 

Mamou’s offense was shutout for the sixth time this season. The Demons did managed to move the ball on the legs of Aaron Johnson and Daniel Matthews, but could not punch it in the end zone. 

Mamou will end it’s 2013 season with a road trip to Kinder next week. The Yellow Jackets defeated Welsh in double overtime 19-18 Friday.
