Mamou softball to host tournament

The Mamou Lady Demons will host thier annual high school softball tournament this upcoming weekend beginning tomorrow and running through Saturday.
The field consists of several varsity and junior varsity teams from around the area.
Along with Mamou’s varsity and junior varsity squads, Sacred Heart will bring its varsity and junior varsity teams as the other Evangline Parish representative in the parish.
Other teams scheduled to participate include Eunice, St. Ed’s, Kinder and Oakdale
Games will take place on two fields and will start at 3:45 tomorrow with the last game scheduled for 8 p.m.
On Saturday, the first game is slated for 9 a.m and the final games of the tournament are set for 6 p.m.

Friday
3:45- Oakdale JV vs. Sacred Heart JV; Mamou JV vs. Elizabeth JV
5:00- Kinder vs. Sacred Heart; Eunice vs. Welsh
6:30- Mamou vs. Iota; Church Point vs. Oakdale
8:00- Mamou vs. Elizabeth; Church Point JV vs. Kinder JV
Saturday
9:00- Elizabeth JV vs. St. Ed’s JV; Marksville JV vs. Sacred Heart JV
10:30- Church Point vs. Iota; Kinder vs. Eunice
12:00- Marksville vs. St. Ed’s; Sacred Heart vs. Welsh
1:30- Kinder JV vs. St. Ed’s JV; Oakdale JV vs. Church Point JV
3:00- Elizabeth vs. Eunice; Oakdale vs. Sacred Heart
4:30- Iota vs. Kinder; Welsh vs. Marksville
