No. 9 Mamou hosts Kinder

Mamou earned the ninth seed and will host Kinder, a district opponent, tonight at 6 p.m. to begin the Class 2A playoffs. The Lady Demons crushed Kinder in the regular season by scores of 61-42 and 62-46 respectively.
The Lady Demons (22-8) should have no problem with the Lady Yellow Jackets (14-13) in front of the Mamou faithful.
Mamou was 8-2 in district with their only league losses coming to Lake Arthur. If Mamou would win tonight, they would most likely travel to Baton Rouge to meet the Redemptorist Lady Wolves who are the eighth seed.
RHS is host General Trass, the 25th seed in the opening round of the post-season.
