Sacred Heart gets huge performances from track athletes

The Sacred Heart Trojan and Lady Trojan track teams took to the oval this past Tuesday to participate in the District 5-2A track meet.
Several Sacred Heart athletes put on outstanding performances and will now participate in the regional track meet scheduled for Tuesday.
District champions from Sacred Heart included Nick Perry (400 meter run), Evyn Soileau (110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles), Seth Shipp (javelin), Whitney Tate (100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter run), and the girl’s 400 meter relay team consisting of Moira Parks, Erin Fontenot, Caroline Fontenot and Gabbie Andrepont.
The boys finished third with 50 points and the girls finished third also with 60 points.
