Ville Platte 8u All Stars do well in summer tournaments

The Ville Platte 8u All Stars did well over the summer with an overall record of 20-4, outscoring opponents 321-166. In the Mamou PONY Warmup Tournament, Ville Platte was 4-1. The only loss came at the hands of Rayne, but it wasn't enough to stop the Ville Platte team from taking first in the tournament. In the Crowley PONY Warmup Tournament, Ville Platte went undefeated with wins over Judice, Iowa, Kinder, the Red Hots of Ville Platte, Eunice and two wins over Rayne. Ville Platte also placed first in that tournament, outscoring their opponents 114-36. In the Earth PONY Sectional Tournament, the Ville Platte 8u All Stars were 3-1, placing third in the tournament. Their only loss was at the hands of Gonzales in the semi-final round. In the Youngsville PONY Super Regionals, Ville Platte went 6-2, winning their bracket and placing second in the tournament. The Ville Platte team played a best-of-three championship series with Rayne and lost the first two games. The team consists of Carlee Soileau, Aubrie Vidrine, Harlie Arnaud, Lyndsey Vallet, Emily Stagg, Gracie McCauley, Kaislyn Lafleur, Victoria Chaddrick, Madison Monier, Peyton Guillory, Sophia Scully and Lilly Fontenot. Manager is Lance Vidrine and coaches are Chad Arnaud, Nasen Soileau and Walter Mire.
