Home fair today at Abbeville library

June is National Homeownership Month and the ASSIST Agency will host a homeownership fair today from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Vermilion Parish Library in Abbeville.

The fair is designed to increase exposure to homeownership opportunities for first-time buyers in the area. It is also an opportunity for ASSIST agency to overview the availability of affordable housing.

Local banks, counseling agencies, contrators, utility companies, insurance companies and many more will be on hand to answer questions. Door prizes will also be given.
