Hubert C. Guidry, Jr.

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Hubert C. Guidry, Jr., 71, who died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 9:55 a.m. at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Fr. Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services.

The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to service time.

A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Guidry was a native and lifelong resident of Crowley. He was self-employed as an Audio/Visual Technician then retired as a technician with the Acadia Parish School Board.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Payton Guidry of Crowley; two sons, Hubert C. Guidry, III and his wife Julie of Crowley, Keith A. Guidry and his wife Rona of Gueydan; one brother, Ray Guidry and his wife Linda of Crowley; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert C. Guidry, Sr. and Catherine Cuccio Guidry Taylor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
