CROWLEY

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at Geesey-Ferguson Chapel in Crowley for Isla Franke Billingsley, 85, who died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Camelot Nursing Home. The Reverend Don Roosa from Northside Assembly of God Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed from 9 a.m. until service time Friday.

Mrs. Billingsley worked as a nurse in various parts of the country, including the Crowley American Legion Hospital and finally retired from the VA hospital in San Antonio.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Franke of Crowley, Richard Lynn Franke of San Antonio and David Alvin Franke of Nederland, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild

She was preceded in death by two husbands and six sisters, Louise Hartman, LaVonne Mohr, Lola Munk, Ruby Shaeffer, Opal Erwin, and Marion Holloway.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. of Crowley.
