Jody Doucet

EVANGELINE – Services for Jody Doucet, 55, will be Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady Help Of Christians Church with Rev. Charles McMillan officiating. She died Saturday May 11, 2008 at her residence.

She was the daughter of Eric and Joyce LeGros Hebert, born in Jennings.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday .

The interment will be in the St. Jules Cemetery in Tee-Mamou.

Mrs. Doucet was a Title Clerk for Bubba Oustalet. She loved to play with her grandchildren, spend time with her family and loved to shop.

Survivors include her husband; Roger Doucet of Evangeline, two sons; Corey Doucet of Iota and wife Colleen, Kyle Doucet of Jennings and wife Nicole, 1 daughter; Erica Dorr of Iowa and husband Jacob, four brothers; Rickey Hebert of Pasenda, Texas, Terry Hebert of Evangeline, Mark Hebert of Houston, Texas, Wade Hebert of Iowa, two sisters; Diana Green of Austin, Texas, Vickie Pousson of Sulphur, eight grandchildren; Taylor Paige, Morgan Claire, Adrienne Kate, Madeline Claire, Macey Blaire, Nicholas Kyle, Katie Nicole Doucet and Noelle Elizabeth Dorr.

Preceded in death by parents Eric and Joyce Hebert.

Visitation will be Monday from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings.
