Abbeville - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Vincent Funeral of Abbeville honoring the life of Joseph Lionel Marceaux, 87, who died June 25, 2008 at EastRidge Nursing Center.

He will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Noah Langley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife Hilda Suire Marceaux; one son, Raymond Joseph Marceaux; two daughters, Charlene Marceaux Dauzet and Linda Ann Marceaux; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Marceaux and the former Olite Leger; one daughter, Carolyn Marceaux Campbell; one brother, Shelby Marceaux; one sister, Verna Mae Vincent; three half brothers, Rudolph Leger, Gilbert Leger and Eugene Leger; and two half sisters, Pearl Cole and Eva Mae Brown.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Friday, June 27 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
