Larry William Doucet

HOUMA – Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral at 10 a.m. for Larry William Doucet, 53, a Lafayette native and resident of Houma, who died Monday, April 14, 2008.

Visitation will take place at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, on Thursday, April 18, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, April 19, 2008 from 8 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will take place at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his companion, Denise Pellegrin of Houma; his former wife, Laurie Wilson Gautreaux; his mother, Stella Zaunbrecher Doucet of Houma; his son, Brad William Doucet of Houma; two daughters, Christy Diggs and husband Richard Diggs, Jr. and Mimi Doucet and fiance’ Ryan Folse of Houma; three brothers, Leonard William Doucet, Karl William Doucet and John William Doucet, all of Houma; one sister, Gwen Orgeron of Houma; and four grandchildren, Brittany Lynn Diggs, Breianna Nicole Diggs, Richard Patrick Diggs III and Dylan Anthony Folse.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Doucet.

He was a welder superintendent with PCM, and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma.
