Leemya Mouton, Sr.

CROWLEY – Funeral services from Leemya Mouton, Sr., 73, who died at his residence Saturday, June 14, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at First Church of God in Christ.

Officiating the service will be Elder Warren Milson, Jr.

Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until time of services at First Church of God in Christ on Saturday.

Survivors include wife Henryetta Mouton of Crowley; one brother, Leo Mouton of Crowley; five sons, Leemya Mouton, Jr. (Madeline), Jeffery Mouton, Phillip Mouton, Sandy Griffin and Anthony Byers, all of Crowley; ten daughters, Mary Alice Mouton of Austin, Texas, Vinda Mouton of Jennings, Linda Mouton, Della Mouton, Janet Mouton, Raquel Griffin, Sandra Griffin, all of Crowley, and Estelle Griffin and Kasha Byers, both of Lafayette; twenty-seven grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Zora Mouton; five brothers, Fredrick Mouton, Edward Coleman, Howard Mouton, Robert Mouton and Buster Mouton; and four sisters, Virginia Mouton, Rosa Mae Mouton Bennette, Della Mouton and Rachel Mouton.

Interment will take place at the West Crowley Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley.
