Boggy Bayou Queen’s Pageant set
The 32nd annual Boggy Bayou Queen’s Pageant will be held Saturday, April 2, at the Boggy Bayou fairgrounds. Contestants are needed. Young ladies must be 17-24 years old, never have been married, nor have children.
The entry fee is $50 for this contracted pageant. A tea will be held earlier that morning at Prairie Manor Nursing Home, while stage competition is set for 2 p.m.
Forms are available at The Ville Platte Gazette, Prairie Manor, or by calling Bernice Ardoin at 599-3370 after 4 p.m. or Christy Ortego at Prairie Manor at 599-2031 during the day.
All proceeds benefit Prairie Manor Nursing Home.
Ms. Boggy Bayou looking for contestants
Looking for a great way to spend helping and visiting others? Then join the Boggy Bayou Ms. pageant, which is set for April 2, at the Boggy Bayou fairgrounds. Women can be single, married, widowed or divorced. Contestants will meet for interview at the tea that morning and stage competition that afternoon. The new Ms. queen will be required to visit residents at Prairie Manor and attend local functions.
