Evangeline Parish 4-H’ers attend Camp Grant Walker

107 fourth - sixth grade Evangeline Parish 4-H’ers enjoyed a fun-filled week at Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center near Pollock, Louisiana, during the week of July 6-10, 2015. The campers enjoyed participating in one of the following morning tracks: Outdoor Adventures; Water Safety/SUP; Wilderness Survival; Wetlands; SET...Science, Engineering and Technology; or Hunter’s Safety. The afternoons and evenings were filled with recreation and free time activities including swimming, arts and crafts, water sports, archery, canoeing, kayaking, line dancing, tubing, Wii Fit and Fun/Zumba and shopping in the camp store. Jr. Counselors assisting at camp were Camille Bergeron, Morgan Fontenot, Ragen Fontenot, Tre’ Fontenot, Baylee Guillory, Laura Manuel, Brannon Pitre, Wyatt Savant and Abigail Soileau from Sacred Heart High School, Daniel Fontenot from Ville Platte High School, and Heather Odom from Pine Prairie High School.
