First Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival Pageant held September 7
The First Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival Pageant was held Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Mamou Recreation Center. Kings and queens, along with the runners-up, were selected in the following categories:
Baby Miss Queen: Isabella Gradney, the five-month-old daughter of Erin Marcantel and Burnell Gradney, was named Baby Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival. Madeline Fuselier, the 10-month-old daughter of Jessica and Donnie Fuselier, was chosen as first runner-up to the new Baby Miss queen.
Baby Master King: The title of Baby Mamou Cajun Music Festival King was presented to Andrew Elliott, the 10-month-old son of Heath Elliott and Kimberly Fontenot. Placing as first runner-up to the new king was Jon-Luke Fontenot, the 10-month-old son of Ryan Fontenot and Megan Pierrotti.
Petite Miss Queen: Savanna Copeland, the 20-month-old daughter of Candace Terry and Derrick Copeland, was chosen as Petite Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Rounding out the Petite Miss court were Halle Lambright, the 16-month-old daughter of Allen and Hannah Lambright, first runner-up; Carter Dupuis, the 18-month-old daughter of Holly and Buck Dupuis, second runner-up; and Elizabeth McGee, the 17-month-old daughter of Erin and Ryan McGee, and Kynleigh Fontenot, the 19-month-old daughter of Derrick Fontenot and Meghan Fuselier, third runners-up (tie).
Toddler Miss Queen: Camille Guillory, the three-year-old daughter of Robert and Lauren Guillory, was selected as Toddler Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Mallory Briley, the two-year-old daughter of Shane and Kristy Briley, was selected as first runner-up to the new queen; and Mica Fontenot, the two-year-old daughter of Brandon and Lee Fontenot, was selected as second runner-up.
Tiny Miss Queen: The Tiny Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen title was awarded to Sarah LaCoste, thefour-year-old daughter of Angelle LaCoste and Kenneth Guillory. Camille Bieber, the four-year-old daughter of Charles and Michelle Bieber, was named first runner-up to new the Tiny Miss queen.
Little Miss Queen: Stephanie Vidrine, the seven-year-old daughter of Coralie and Jason Vidrine, was named Little Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Rounding out the Little Miss court were Carley Ardoin, the six-year-old daughter of Laura Pellican, first runner-up; and Aryn Reed, the six-year-old daughter of Seth and Kayla Reed, second runner-up.
Deb Miss Queen: Allenie Dick, the eight-year-old daughter of Allen and Shameka Dick, was crowned Deb Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Rebecca Disatell, the nine-year-old daughter of Robert and Sarah Disatell, first runner-up; and Bella Reed, the eight-year-old daughter of Nick and Neili Reed, second runner-up, rounded out the Deb Miss court.
Pre-Teen Miss Queen: The title of Pre-Teen Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen went to Charlie Bieber, the 11-year-old daughter of Charles and Michelle Bieber. Tatum Soileau, the 12-year-old daughter of Travis Soileau and Mia Gradney, was selected as first runner-up to the new queen.
Teen Miss Queen: Katheryn Leigh Giles, the 14-year-old daughter of Emily Fontenot of Basile, was named Teen Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Jr. Miss Queen: The title of Jr. Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen went to Lily Nannette Duplechin, the 16-year-old daughter of Kenny and Leigh-Ann Burgess of Basile and the late Stacey Duplechin.
Miss Queen: Emily Lynn Vidrine, the 17-year-old daughter of Wayne and Jenny Vidrine of Ville Platte, was crowned as the inaugural Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Runners-up to the new queen were Kellie Barnes, the 17-year-old daughter of James and Andie Barnes of Mamou, first runner-up; and Sydney Renee Reed, the 17-year-old daughter of Jake and Rhonda Reed of Mamou.
