First Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival Pageant set for September 7

The First Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival Pageant will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Mamou Recreation Center beginning at 1 p.m. Entry fee for contestants ages newborn to 12 is $35, and entry fee for Jr., Teen and Miss contestants (ages 13-22) is $55. The Jr., Teen and Miss titles are contract titles and the Miss queen will receive a scholarship upon completion of her reign.
The pageant is being held in conjunction with the annual Cajun Music Festival, which will be held September 19 and 20, at the recreation center.
