Jeanerette’s Hebert named King Cotton

Troy Michael Hebert of Jeanerette is King Cotton LXII.
Hebert is the state’s current Commissioner of the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, and was appointed by Gov. Bobby Jindal to that post in 2010.
Prior to his current position with the state government, Hebert served four years as councilman in Iberia Parish, three terms in the Louisiana House representing District 49 before being elected to the Louisiana Senate representing District 22.
The University of Louisiana-Lafayette alumni has also been a sugar cane farmer, carpenter and contractor.
