Locals earns honors at NSU

NATCHITOCHES – Nine hundred forty-eight Northwestern State University students were named to the Honor List for the Spring 2016 semester. Students on the Honor List must be enrolled full-time at Northwestern State and have a grade point average of between 3.0 and 3.49. Students listed by hometown are as follows.
A total of five students from Evangeline Parish were named to the list. Those students are: Betsi Smith of Basile, Lydia Foret, Hannah Gallor, Shelbi LaFleur and John Vidrine, all of Ville Platte.
In addition, 1,014 students were named to the Spring 2016 Dean’s List at NSU. Six of those students hail from Evangeline Parish. Those students are: Dylan Ardoin, Corieana Ceaser, Julie Hebert, Natalie Morrison, Darius Poullard and Regis Tezeno, all from Ville Platte.
