Mr. Johnson, Miss Lambert plan Oct. 15 nuptials

The engagement of Miss Canaan Neiel Lambert, daughter of Samuel and Bonnie Lambert of Church Point to Mr. Nicholas Ted Johnson, the son of David and Tammy Johnson of Ville Platte, has been announced by their parents.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 6 p.m. October 15, 2016, at Promise Land Church in Church Point.
Miss Lambert’s mother is the former Bonnie Matte of Church Point. Lambert is the granddaughter of the late Charles Raymond, the late Grace Butter, the late Beulah Lejune and the late Vorace Matte. She is a graduate of Church Point High School, and she is employed at Washington State Bank as a branch manager.
Mr. Fontenot’s mother is the former Tammy Chautin of Ville Platte. Fontenot is the grandson of Leroy Chautin, the late Helen Jane Chautin, the late Marcy Joyce Johnson and the late Roy Johnson. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, and he is employed as owner of JaniKing franchise.
