Oliver receives sorority scholarship

Epsilon Sigma, Beta Sigma Phi presented its 21st annual college scholarship to Emily Oliver, the daughter of Mark and Amanda Oliver of Ville Platte. Emily is a 2014 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, where she was a Trojan Scholar for two years, a member of the National Honor Society for three years and a candidate for student of the year. She was also an active member of the Rotary Interact Club, the Drama Club and the Literary Rally and Quiz Bowl teams. She is currently attending LSUA, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology as a pre-med major. Emily is shown with Epsilon Sigma members Joyce Coreil, left, and Barbara Buroker, right.
