Serving those who serve

Ardoin’s Funeral Home holds annual 9/11 BBQ to honor local police officers, firefighters and EMTs

Over 200 plate lunches served - On Friday, September 11, Ardoin’s Funeral Homes in Ville Platte and Mamou held their 13th annual barbecue lunch donation to honor the local police and fire departments and paramedics for their hard work, dedication and service to our communities in keeping residents safe. Manager Lowell Sibille III stated this is just their small way of recognizing and thanking those who protect and serve us and honoring the memory of those who lost their lives while protecting us. Ardoin’s has held this annual barbecue since September 11, 2002, as a way to honor those who protect and serve and to observe the anniversary of the tragic date. Over 200 lunches were served to members of the local police and fire departments.
