Troupe d’Evangeline to hold auditions for next production

Troupe d’Evangeline Community Theatre is happy to announce that a new show for the kids of our community has been chosen! They will be performing "Princess and the Pea." This play has many roles for boys, girls and adults, with both small and large parts. The group is looking for performers ages 10 and up, as this is a larger play. There are parts for over 20 performers.
Troupe d’Evangeline wants the youth of Evangeline Parish to have an enjoyable summer and learn what it is to be a part of the arts. Auditions will be held in the warehouse right behind the Ville Platte city square (the Christmas Tree) on Thursday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those participating will read from the script for the audition. The tentative date for the performance of “Princess and the Pea” is Thursday, July 31,
