Troupe d’Evangeline presents “Pirates in the Platte”

Troupe d’Evangeline hosted the short, interactive play “Pirates in the Platte” on Saturday, September 26, at the Northside Civic Center Pavilion in Ville Platte. The children in attendance dressed in costume and participated in the performance. Following the show, they were treated to cupcakes and fun games. The event was made possible by the Evangeline Tourism Commission and funded in part with a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
