Winners of 4-H Cotton Pickin’ Pet Show announced

The 4-H “Cotton Pickin’ Pet Show” was held on Monday, October 24, at the Ville Platte Civic Center. There were more than 80 pets entered in the show this year. A congratulations goes out to all 4-H club members participating in this annual event.
The judges for the event were: Tami Courville, Tina Dupre, Veronica Soileau, Connie Dardeau, Marsha Ramirez, Kim Costanza, and Sandy Veillon of Evangeline Bank and Trust. Sandy Veillon coordinated the judges and organized treats for exhibitors and pets. They are employees of the Evangeline Bank and Trust Company, which gave time from work to assist with Evangeline Parish 4-H Pet Show and donate supplies for this activity. They volunteered their time and efforts and did an excellent job. A special “thanks” to each of them.
The 4-H “Cotton Pickin Pet Show” is co-sponsored by the Cotton Festival Association, the Evangeline Bank and Trust Company and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service, a branch of the LSU Agriculture Center.
