‘Christmas Comes Alive’ dates changed

(EDITOR’S NOTE: The date of this event was changed due to the December 6, election. It will now be held on December 19.)
The Ville Platte Police Department will be hosting it’s second annual “Christmas Comes Alive” toy giveaway on Friday, December 19.
“Christmas Comes Alive” will be held at the Ville Platte Northside Civic Center. Registration has begun and the deadline to register is November 24. You can register at the Ville Platte Police Department Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. No applications will be accepted after November 24.
The qualifications to apply for this event are as follows:
•Child must be a resident of Ville Platte
•The child must be between the ages of zero months - 13 years old.
•Registration must be completed by deadline date
•Only one application per child
•Child must be present at the event to receive a gift
