1A spearheads Kentucky trip for regional leaders

LAFAYETTE – One Acadiana (1A) has announced its second annual Leadership Exchange will bring the nine-parish region’s political, business, economic development, education, and tourism leaders to Lexington, Kentucky, for a dynamic, three-day learning conference.
With focus on learning key lessons, and gaining special insight from the challenges and opportunities facing the Bluegrass Region, the trip will feature experts and executives at the helm of Lexington’s government entities, industry enterprises, workforce development initiatives, infrastructure departments, and more.
Registration for the April 24 – 26 trip will open on Wednesday, January 4.
“This trip will build upon the success of our inaugural Leadership Exchange trip, which featured lessons from the city officials, economic developers, and business leaders of Charleston, South Carolina,” said One Acadiana President & CEO Jason El Koubi. “We’re excited to bring a delegation of Acadiana’s leaders to Lexington in the spring to gain fresh insight. I encourage leaders across sectors to join us as we discuss solutions to regional challenges with our Lexington counterparts and take time to enjoy the culture and vibrancy the Bluegrass Region has to offer.”
Co-chairs of the exchange shared what they look forward to from this unique itinerary.
