Annual Pro-Life Walk held Sunday, Jan. 24

VILLE PLATTE — Ville Platte Christians will commemorate the 41st Anniversary of Roe v. Wade with the annual Pro-Life Walk from Our Lady Queen of All Saints to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Sunday, Jan. 24.
Local residents and their children are invited and encouraged to attend. Those involved in the walk will pray the pro-life Rosary for an end to abortion in our nation and the world.
Following the walk, Denna Wallace, Lawyers for Life Coordinator for the Louisiana Right to Life, will share her personal story about being adopted.
The walk will begin immediately following the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady Queen of All Saints in Ville Platte. There will be transportation from Sacred Heart to bring people back to their vehicles in the OLQAS parking lot.
